Pauline Duncan

Pauline Duncan, age 94, of Springdale,
died April 19, 2014, at Earlene Howard Circle
of Life Hospice House. She had been a recent
resident of the Maples at Har-Ber Meadows in
Springdale.

She was born July 11, 1919, in
Marble Arkansas, the daughter of Andrew
and Effie Boatright Dennis. She attended
Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and
was a homemaker.

Mrs. Duncan enjoyed quilting,
reading, listening to blue grass music and playing
the guitar with the Old Time Fiddlers Association.

She was preceded by her husband, James Duncan,
in 1972, and a son, Jimmy Duncan, in 1967.

She is survived by one sister: Zelma McMurray,
of Springdale; three nephews: Elbert McMurray
and his wife, Carolyn, of Springdale; Jerry McMurray
and his wife, Alta, of Oklahoma City; and
Larry McMurray and his wife, Joyce, of Springdale;
and one niece, Shirley Pappas, and her husband,
George, of Venice, Florida; and numerous
great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 24, 2014,
at Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M. with
Rev. Ben Gibson officiating under the direction
of Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow
in Stuckey Cemetery. Visitation will be
Wednesday, April 23, 2014, from 4:00 P.M.
until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
