Ether Lawrence Dennis, 36, of Hindsville died Thursday, May 14, in a Little Rock hospital while undergoing heart surgery.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Dennis of Hindsville. Other survivors are his wife, Jeannetta Stanphill Dennis; one brother, Leo Dennis of California; two sisters, Mrs. Zelma McCurray and Mrs. Pauline Duncan, both of Hindsville.

Funeral services were held at the Johnson Church of Christ Sunday, May 17, at 2 p.m., conducted by Church of Christ minister, Larry Ball. Burial was in the Stuckey cemetery at Johnson under the direction of the Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Charley Porter, Wilford Garrison, Alvin Ball, Roy Gilbert, Bill Gilbert and Willis Hardcastle.
