Zelma A. McMurray, 99, of Springdale, passed away March 12th in Springdale.
She was born March 24, 1915, to the late Andrew and Effie Dennis.
Zelma was a member of Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and was involved with the Old Time Fiddler’s Association, Old Mt. Zion’s Association, and the Springdale Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Elbert McMurray; and siblings James Dennis, Loy and Loys Dennis, Ether Dennis, Leo Dennis, and Pauline Duncan.
She is survived by her children Shirley Pappas and husband George of Venice, FL, Elbert McMurray and wife Carolyn of West Fork, AR, Jerry McMurray and wife Alta of Oklahoma City, OK, and Larry McMurray and wife Joyce of Springdale. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Mary Day, Sean McMurray, Melissa McMurray, Michelle Posey, and Jennifer McMurray, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
