Bonnie Jean Bradshaw Nowers
March 31, 1930 - August 30, 2012

On Thursday Morning, August 30, 2012, Our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Friend returned home to her heavenly father at age 82. Bonnie was born on March 31, 1930 in Minersville, Utah to William Ira and Hazel Gray Bradshaw.

She attended grades one through twelve in Milford. Bonnie married the love of her life S. K. "Shorty" Nowers. They were married on December 17, 1949 in Beaver at the home of Shorty's parents Seldon and Delia. They were later sealed in the St. George Temple on June 26, 1964. To this union four children were born, Douglas K., Roger B., Carol Jean and William Michael.

Bonnie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she was very active serving in numerous callings. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Bonnie and Shorty served a mission at the Bishop's Store House.

Bonnie was a member of the BPW, she owned and operated the North side drive in, she was famous for her cooking especially her brownies. She loved her home, yard, garden and made everyone feel welcome. Nobody ever went away hungry from a visit to Bonnie's. She was grateful for her kids and family and was always close to her brothers and sisters. Bonnie was always a very compassionate person, she will be deeply missed.

Mom is survived by her sons Doug (Lynne) Nowers of Glenwood, UT, Roger (Jill) Nowers of Panguitch, UT, Mike (Elaine) Nowers of Beaver, UT, her daughter Carol Brian of Cedar City, UT, 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, her sister Audrey (Norman deceased) Hutchings of Beaver, UT, brother William Ira Bradshaw of Beaver, UT.

She is preceded in death by her husband Shorty, parents, a brother Claude Bradshaw, sisters Bernice Ashley, Alice "Dot" Guymon, Jetta Barnes and son-in-law Elbert Brian.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday September 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Beaver 3rd Ward Chapel located at 220 North Main Street, Beaver, UT. Viewing's will be held Tuesday September 4, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday one hour prior to service both viewing's at the church.

Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery all under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
