The many friends of B. Frank Brenberger, formerly a member of Common Council, will hear with deep regret of his sudden death, which occurred on Sunday night, at his home, No. 151 South Queen street. Mr. Brenberger was taken seriously sick two weeks ago, with complication of diseases, which resulted in his death. For a number of years deceased had been connected with the Water Department. He had represented the Third ward in Common Council, and at one time he conducted the Swan Hotel. Deceased was in his sixty-fourth year, and he was a native of Lancaster county. Mr. Brenberger is survived by his wife, who was Mary Virginia Morrison, and a daughter, Helen, wife of Harry R. Haldy, of Lancaster. Brothers and sisters also survive, as follows: Mrs. John Hess, Lancaster; Henry, of Rawlinsville; David, of Cincinnati, and Levi, of Longworth, Colorado. (The Semi-Weekly New Era - June 20, 1917)
