Mrs. Elizabeth Cramer, widow of Wm. Cramer, died Friday morning at St. Joseph's hospital, from general debility, after an illness of three weeks. Her home was at Sterling, Ill., and she only came here four weeks ago to visit. She was 71 years old and was born in this county, being a daughter of the late Henry Brenberger. She spent the most of her life in the West, and is survived by three children, who live in Western states, Wilbur, Charles and Minnie. The following brothers and sister survive: Levi Brenberger, Longmont, Col.; David, Cincinnati; John E. Pikesville, Md.; Henry, Rawlinsville; B. Frank, city, and Amanda, wife of John Hess, city. The body was taken in charge by Undertaker Rote, and it will be interred at Rawlinsville. (The Morning Journal - Aug 12, 1911)
