COLUMBIA, SC -- Mrs. Mizelle Adams Hoffman, 61, widow of Lever H. Hoffman of 1600 Standish St., died Thursday in a Columbia hospital following and extended illness.
She was born in Orangeburg County and was the daughter of the late W. E. and Lula Hoffman Adams. She was a member of the Full Salvation Baptist Church and was a former employee of the South Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Gladys) Grubb of Cooleemee, NC; four sons, Weylon F. Hoffman of North, Clifton H. Hoffman and Maxcey L. Hoffman, both of Columbia, and Marion L. Hoffman of Wagener; three brothers, Fairey Adams of Greenwood, Bailey Adams of Norway and Hammond Adams of Columbia; eight grandchildren, including Miss Kelly Hoffman and Tracey Hoffman of the home.
Funeral plans will be announced by the Talbert - Shives Funeral Home of Columbia.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mizelle Adams Hoffman will be Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in the Full Salvation Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. L. F. Steele and the Rev. Edward W. Aldrich.
Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Talbert - Shives Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
