Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Max C Ward passed away peacefully on August 22, 2012 at the Bear River Valley Care Center in Tremonton, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.

He was born on June 21, 1930 in Fielding, Utah to Glen M and Alice Coombs Ward. He was educated in Tremonton and graduated from Bear River High School. He served in the army during the Korean War. He married Donna Rader on March 25, 1953 in the Logan LDS Temple. They were blessed with three daughters.

He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and had served in many callings and positions in the church. One of the callings he enjoyed most was serving with his wife in the Branch Presidency in the Bear River Valley Care Center for 11 years.

Max was a farmer and rancher and was known for his honesty and generosity. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and was happy when they dropped by. He enjoyed his morning chats at the Riverside Corner with friends.

He is survived by his wife Donna, and his three daughters Patti (Kelly) Walker, Honeyville; Joni (David) Earl, Beaver Dam; Sherry (Billy) Rhodes, Fielding; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one sister Barbara (Richard) Capener, Riverside.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Max will be held Monday August 27, 2012 at 1:00 pm. There will be a viewing from 6-8 pm on Sunday August 26, 2012 and from 11:30 – 12:30 pm previous to the funeral. All viewings and services will be held at the Belmont 2nd Ward LDS Chapel (16925 N. 5200 W. Riverside, UT). Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery.
