Grace Dell Banning Bayless, 76, of Rt. 1, five miles northwest of Lafayette on Pierce Road, died at 7:55 AM Friday [Nov. 20, 1959] in St. Elizabeth Hospital, since one day after she suffered a stroke. Born at Green Hill, [she married Jesse James Holladay, July 1, 1903. She then married George Lewis Bayless on June 26, 1912.]

Surviving are four sons, Albert Holladay of Lafayette, Ray Holladay of Rt. 1 Attica, Joseph Bayless of Pine Village, and Alva Bayless of Frankfort; two daughters, Mrs. Francis Verhey of Rt. 1 Attica and Mrs. Roy Donnoe of Battle Ground; a brother, Henry Banning of Green Hill; three sisters, Mrs. Daisy Clawson of Oxford, Mrs. Ida Solomon of Warsaw, and Mrs. Minta Buck of Lafayette; 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
