George E. Spring was born in Franklinville, Cattaraugus County, NY on 10/27/1859 and attended Ten Broeck Academy and graduated there in 1880. He studied Law with his brother Alfred Spring and was admitted into the Law Bar in Rochester, NY in 10/1884. He & his brother Alfred were in partnership. Alfred became a Surrogate & George was a Clerk to the Surrogate Court.

His wife was Rena(Irene) F. Allen(1861-1943) from Machias, NY

Their Child:
1. Harold Spring (1890 - 1986)married
