I believe John W. Jenkins b. 1796, was born in Harrison County, Kentucky, the son of John Jenkins who lived in Washington, Spotsylvania, Virginia. He and his brother, William Jenkins, moved to Harrison County, Kentucky at about the same time after the Revolutionary War.

James Henry Jenkins married Chloe Ann Redman in Madison, Jefferson, Indiana in 1851. They moved to Trimble, Kentucky with older brother, John Washington Jenkins and his wife Eliza Swisher. James & Chloe Ann Jenkins' 3 older children (John Robert Jenkins, Nancy Jane Jenkins and William W. Jenkins), all were born Trimble County, Kentucky. My grandmother, Chloe Ann Jenkins was the youngest child born to William W. Jenkins and Juditha Augustus in 1892 in Grandview, Edgar, Illinois.
