George C. Weimer, 89, of 6106 Bradley Lane, Clinton, formerly of Route 40 west, died Sept. 9, 1980 at his home. A native of Greenville Township, near Pocahontas, Pa., he was a son of the late Ozias Weimer and Elizabeth (Breig) Weimer. He was a retired carpenter and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. He is survived by his widow, Rose (Warnick) Weimer; two daughters, Mrs. Beulah Stakem of Frostburg and Miss Mary Marcella Weimer, at home; one son, Bernard Weimer, of Waldorf; one sister, Mrs. Martha Althoff of York, Pa.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home. The rosary was recited Friday. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael's Church. Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Avilton.
