Helen R. Vaughn, 63, died Saturday, June 26, 1999, at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was a resident of Edinburgh.
Her parents were Scott P. and Esther (Doty) Davis. Survivors include one daughter, Lynn Vaughn Langston of Dallas, Texas; four sons, William "Butch" Vaughn of Memphis, Tenn., Jeff Vaughn of Warner Robins, Ga., Greg Vaughn of Denver, Colo., and Wayne Vaughn of Dallas; two sisters, Bernice McCreery and Mary Alice Streeval, both of Edinburgh; one brother, Roy J. Davis of Fort Myers, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Davis and Herchel Davis, and a granddaughter, Megan Vaughn.
She was formerly employed as a manager in the customer service department of the Franklin Wal-Mart.
The Rev. Lewis Burton will conduct a service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Who-So-Ever-Will Church in Edinburgh. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Arrangements are being handled by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
