Scott Davis, 80, Flat Rock
FLAT ROCK - Funeral services for Scott P. Davis, 80, of Flat Rock will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Eskew Funeral Home at Edinburg by the Rev. George Eagler. Burial will be at the Rest Haven Cemetery at Edinburg. Persons may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight and from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Davis died Tuesday morning at the county hospital in Franklin.
Davis was born Jan. 17, 1893, in Bartholomew County to Jasper and Mattie McMahan Davis. He was a retired employee of Amos-Thompson corporation at Edinburg.
Survivors include a son, Roy J. Davis, of Plainfield; three daughters, Bernice Shoopman of New Whiteland, Mary Alice Streeval of Edinburg and Helen Vaughn of Richard Gebaur Air Force Base at Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Frank Davis of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mamie Davis and Dora Mills, both of Flat Rock; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Herschell and Henry Davis; a brother, Guy Davis, and a sister, Bertha Henderson.
