Esther Shoopman, 88, former Lawrenceport resident, died at 10:15 Wednesday, Apr. 20, at the Mitchell Manor Nursing Home.
Born July 19, 1899, in Ogleville, she was the daughter of Herschel and Ida Doty. She married Roy Davis and he preceded her in death. She next married Arnold Shoopman and he survies.
Surviving are one son, Roy of Fort Myers, FL.; three daughters, Bernice, Mary and Helen, all of Edinburg; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Haverly Mortuary.
Burial was in the Mitchell Cemetery.
