Funeral services for Pauline Hill will be conducted Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from the Martin Funeral Chapel of Elk City with Dr. Russell Duck officiating. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Visitation will be on Monday and Tuesday.

Willie Pauline Hill was born October 10, 1914 at Bowie, TX to Willie Roland and Sarah Alda (Risinger) Frye and passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the age of 97. She graduated from Canute High School in 1932 and was married to Prather D. Hill on December 12, 1939. They farmed and ranched in the Highway Community and then moved into Elk City in 1972. Mr. Hill preceded her in death on April 19, 1983. Pauline was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Elk City. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Mary Elizabeth Hager, Mildred Francis Solomon, Ruby Aldamae Joyce, Margrette Lee Roppolo and 2 brothers, Billy Cecil Frye and Jackson Lynn Frye.

Survivors include a sister, Iva Pearl Rogers of Malvern, Arkansas and many loving nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
