She was born July 13, 1917 in Nome, TX to Myrtle and Henry Ebner.
She was a homemaker for most of her life and loved her family dearly. She was a member of Victory Temple Assembly of God Church and was a true Christian example to all who knew her. She was always full of joy and laughter and it spilled over to everyone around her.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, C.O. "Buck" Bridges; her parents; brother, H.E. Ebner and her sister, Pauline Hancock.
Erma is survived by three sons, Gerald Bridges and wife Cheri of Beaumont, TX, Gary Bridges and wife Sherry of Beaumont, TX, and Mark Bridges and wife, Kay of Vidor, TX; two daughters, Wanda Pelton and husband, Buddy of Lumberton, TX and Kay LeBlanc and husband, Whitney of Vidor, TX; her sister-in-law, Gayle Ebner of Kilgore, TX; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Victory Temple Assembly of God with Pastor Robert Turnage officiating. Interment at Magnolia Cemetery will immediately follow the service.
