LINNERT, ARNOLD-- At his home in Madison township, Monday, November 4, 1901, of rheumatism, Arnold Linnert, aged 50 years, 7 months, and 5 days, died. Mr. Linnert had been a great sufferer from rheumatism for some time. He was born in Germany, coming to America when three years old. He formerly resided at Exeter, going from there to Kansas and later returning to reside in Madison township.
In his early years he was baptized in the Lutheran church but united with the Methodist church in 1899. Mr. Linnert's wife and three sons and three daughters survive him. The funeral took place from the Methodist church at 11 a. m. Wednesday and was conducted by; Rev. E. M. Evans. The interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The deceased was member of the Exeter A. O. U. W. lodge and members of that lodge acted as pallbearers, although the order did official charge of the funeral.
