CHILD DIES OF APPENDICITIS
Lloyd, the 4 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Clark, died of appendicitis following an operation Monday. The little fellow was stricken Friday. Sunday the doctor recommended an operation and Monday the parents consented, but perinitis had already set in because of the appendix having ruptured. Mr. and Mrs. Clark are residents of the Third Ward but were living at Saratoga.
Funeral services were held in the Fourth Ward meeting house Wednesday. Bishop Stoker presided. The speakers were George Comer, Elisha Peck and J. P. Stafford. Solos were sang by Mrs. Charles Wilson and Mrs. J. J. Gill. Lott Russon gave the opening prayer and J. J. Gill the benediction.
