Adeline Blacklock Is Dead

Passes away Friday Afternoon; Arrangements For Funeral Not Complete Today

Mrs. Adeline Blacklock died at the home of her son, Wallace Blacklock, at 2:00 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Blacklock has been ill some time. She was eighty years of age the first of last November and heart trouble which had affected her some years, caused her death.

Mrs. Blacklock was the widow of David Blacklock who died eight years ago.

She was born Adeline Murphy near Grange Hall and lived near there in her youth. She married David Blacklock and moved to a farm near Camp Creek, where they reared a large family. Those living are: Chas, Wallace and Robert of this city and three daughters, Mrs. Jane Crews of Carterville, Mrs. Molly Vancil, De Soto; Mrs. Rose Delzell of Muphysboro. One sister, Mrs. Josie Underhill, survives her.

Mrs. Blacklock was a member of the Free Will Baptist church at Camp Creek. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
