R. W. Prytherch Dies Following Brief Illness
Robert W. Prytherch died at his home, Eagle Street, this morning following a brief illness. Mr. Prytherch was a real estate and insurance dealer in this city for several years, having offices in the Gardener and Mayro Buildings.
Robert W. Prytherch was born at Anglesea, North Wales. Oct. 26, 1864, coming to this city with his parents at the age of 8 years. He attended the public schools and at the age of 21 opened a mercantile business at the corner of South and Steuben Streets. This business he continued for 15 years, disposing of it to enter the real estate and insurance business. He retired about 10 years ago.
Mr. Prytherch was a member of Westminster Church. He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Vera, and two brothers, Hugh of Bighamton and William of this city.
