Linda Kay Thomas was the daughter of Emmitt Albert Thomas and Dorothy Merle Starling. She was the granddaughter of Ben Thomas and Lula Standard, and the granddaughter of Flynn Durkin Starling and Susan Delila Knight.

Linda married Claude Lee Traylor. They had a son Thomas Bradley.

On June 8, 1971, Linda married Trinidad F. Pimentel in Jefferson County, Texas. Linda and Trini had three daughters, Deborah, Rebecca and Michele.
