They headlined at major nightclubs from New York to Hollywood, California, and appeared regularly on live CBS radio broadcasts. The group also enjoyed popularity as recording artists and performed with the USO during WWII. The trio disbanded in the early 1950s when Ernestine and Betty Jane married and raised families respectively.
