Kenneth Durwood Brooks of 79 Ferrara Drive, Dorchester Terrace, died last night at 9 o'clock at his home. He was a carpenter.
Mr. Brooks, 62 years old, was born in Marion County and attended school there. He was Methodist.
Surviving are his widow, Ruby L. Brown Brooks; three sons, Kenneth Brooks Jr. of Myrtle Beach, Wallie Brooks and Edward Brooks, both of Charleston; and four daughters, Mrs. R. J. Vick, Misses Lucille, Margaret and Betty Brooks, all of Charleston.
The body will be sent to Marion tomorrow by the Schwerin Funeral Home.
