He married 1st Rebecca Frazier (b. Canada) and had ch. Simeon 1827, Jeremiah 1834, James 1836, Phebe 1838, Martin 1840, Laurel 1841 and Lauraette 1841 (twins), John 1844, and Charles O. 1846.. they res. in Pitcairn, NY in 1850 census
By 1870 Rebecca must have died because he is seen in NY with Amanda. He is age 68, she is 74 (b NY).

Most people list Jeremiah as being married 3 times with Mary Hoard being the second wife. I have never seen proof of that and on the 1850 and 1860 census his wife is listed as Rebecca. 1870 has him in Wisconsin with 3rd wife, Amanda and her sister. Several of his children's records list their mother as Rebecca Fraser plus one son has Fraser as a middle name.

Missing children:
Simeon Bethuel Brockway - there is one in Packard Cemetery, Missouri. This appears to be the correct person 17462953. Inscription alludes to sister, Emily.
Phebe Brockway Titus, died 1900-1910 in Seattle, Washington
Charles O. Brockway - on census in 1870 next door to Phebe. It appears that Charles O. Brockway was using an alias of Charles Oliver Brewster. He is in Minnesota in the early 1900's and dies in Idaho in 1919. Informant on death certificate is his step-daughter, Alice Martin. He married Margaret Rimler Guyler ca. 1888. She died 1917 in Idaho.
Emily Brockway born 1848. Since she left an inscription on Simeon's tombstone, I would assume she died after 1891.
