LATTA - Walter Wightman Braddy died in McLeod Infirmary, Florence, Wednesday morning of heart disease after a long illness. He was 73 years of age.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. in the residence conducted by his pastor, the Rev. Mr. Trammell. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
A son of the late W. W. and Mrs. Elizabeth Evans Braddy, he was born in Marion County November 18, 1872. He and Mrs. Emma Evans were married in 1901. He was a representative of a jewelry concern.
Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth King of Columbia and Mrs. Charlie Napier of Blenheim; a son, Olin Braddy of Latta; a sister, Mrs. J. T. Coleman of Charleston; and 2 grandchildren.
