Rose Marie Anderson Rose, 84, of Fort Dodge, passed away, Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care Center.
She is survived by her son, David Rose; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Joelle, Courtney, Zach, and Paden; her great grandchildren, Pete, David, Steven, Maile, and Adam; and many nieces and nephews including Alecia Borer who was also her caregiver. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Herbert Rose, son Randy Rose, and three brothers, Wayne Anderson, Ronald Anderson, and Richard (Dick) Anderson.
Rose Marie Anderson, the daughter of Oscar and Nellie (Van Valkenburg) Anderson, was born August 29, 1927 in Estherville, Iowa. On November 25, 1945 she married Herbert Rose in Jackson, MN. They lived in Sioux City for many years before moving to Fort Dodge and many other places. Rose was a homemaker for many years. In September of 2011, she came back to Fort Dodge.
A Celebration Of Her Life will be September 29, 2012 at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville, Iowa. The Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge are in charge of arrangements.
