"Bernice, the seven-year old daughter of Mr. And Mrs. J. L. Leamaster, died at her home, Sunday evening, of Bright's disease, from which she had been a sufferer for but a few days. The disease was caused by diphtheria, of which the little girl was convalescent.
Over a happy home the shadow of a little grave has fallen. The child was a bright, happy and cheerful little girl, and was idolized by her parents, who are inconsolable in their grief. The sympathy of a sorrowing community goes out to the bereaved relatives. May the knowledge of the beautiful life that awaits her on the other side compensate them to an extent for the loss of their child."
