Charles Dice, (94) died at Perry Village, New Bloomfield but lived his whole life in Rye Twp. Perry County, Pa. It can be said the the Dice family has been in this area since pre-Civil War. Charles was a mechanic for the former Keller Chevrolet of Marysville. He was a life long member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Rye Twp. He held many offices at the church, sang in the choir and was a Sunday School Teacher. He was the widower of Kathrine J. (Adams) Dice whose family is also a long time resident of this area. Surviving are two daughters, Phebe Kelley of Rye Twp. and Reba D. Pace, who is a prominant citizen of the area as well as a successful business lady.; one sister, Wilma Dice Fedder of Shermans Dale; 3 brothers, Homer Dice of Lebanon, Walter Dice of Campbelltown, and Niles Dice of Indianapolis; 6 grandchildren and 18 gr-grandchildren.
