Mrs. Gladys Inez Krebs Bowman, age 98, of Centreville, AL, (formerly of Pascagoula, MS) entered into rest on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Bibb Medical Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 2 PM at First Baptist Church of Pascagoula, MS with Rev. Dennis Ray Smith officiating. Burial will be at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS with Rockco Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Wayne Bowman (Hilda Sims) of Pearl River, LA, Ronald Ernest Bowman (Dianne Holmes) of Theodore, AL, Steven Ellis Bowman, Sr. (Emily Hornsby) of Centreville, AL, James Daryl Bowman (Paz Mahinay) of San Carlos, CA; daughters in law, Norma Yeary Bowman of Houston, TX and Gayle Smith Bowman of Pascagoula, MS; brother, Elmer Richards Krebs (Betty) of Tuscaloosa, AL and sister, Florence Annie Theresa "Jessie" Krebs Woolley of Tuscaloosa, AL; eighteen grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Horace McVeigh "Mac" Bowman; sons, Paul Michael Bowman, Conrad McVeigh Bowman and Gerald Gayle Bowman and his wife Barbara Billingsley Bowman; grandchildren, David Walton Bowman and Cindy Kay Bowman Prewitt; sister, Lillian Olevia Krebs Squires; brothers, Francis Odom "Frank" Krebs and Joseph Rogers Krebs, Jr. Pallbearers are grandsons and great grandsons.
