Vorelda Christina Elizabeth Byrum, 93, of Winslow, Arkansas died Thursday, July 6, 2004 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born February 26, 1911 in Trace Branch, Arkansas, the daughter of Henry and Rhoda Burris. She was a Cook, Homemaker and a friend to many.

She is survived by; four sons, Alvin Byrum of West Fork, Arkansas, Calvin Byrum of Purvis, Mississippi, Elmer Byrum of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Mack Byrum of Winslow, Arkansas, two daughters; Sadie Christina Ingram Altus, Oklahoma, Marylue Knight of Titusville, Florida, one sister; Hazel Pennington of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and twenty-five great great grandchildren.


Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 8, 2004 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Mr. Don Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Reese cemetery. Pallbearers will be Guy Boydstun, Steve Byrum, Randy Parette, Darrin Byrum, Kirk Goad, and David Thornton.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 7, 2004 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home
