In Fondest Memory of Rose Laura Bartimioli Born in 1926, longtime and beloved resident of Pittsburg, California, Rose Laura Bartimioli went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 12, 2005.

She was born Rose Laura "Bucket" Russo to her parents, Salvatore "Bucket" Russo and Francis Costanza. She was the youngest of ten children: Nino, Peter, Frank, Vince, Helen, Marie, Angie, Ethel and Francis.

She worked in Camp Stoneman, Al's Hotdogs and was best known for her years as head waitress at her brother in law's restaurant, Snooker Pete's Diablo Inn. She spent her post retirement years as a Teacher's Aid for the Pittsburg Unified School District. She was a faithful parishioner of Good Shepherd Church. She lived in Pittsburg until the passing of her husband of 49 years, Salvatore Anthony Bartimioli. Her last years were spent in South Lake Tahoe.

She is survived by her beloved children, Jeanette Bartimioli, Kenny & Stephanie Bartimioli and Allen & Ellen Bartimioli. She has nine grandchildren: Amy Waterous, Sarah Schiedler, Rebecca Waterous, Justin, Chris, Paul, Anthony, Nicholas and Hope Bartimioli. She is also survived by dear family friends, Harold and Francis Scott and Mini Russo. Also deeply loved were her husband's beloved sister, Esther Quarick [Quarrick], and Esther's children, Claude and Gloria Short and Wes and Dolly Pain, as well as dozens of nephews and nieces.

Graveside Burial Service will be Tuesday, January 18, at Holy Cross Cemetery on 18th Street in Antioch, CA.
