The funeral of Mrs. Mary Ann Myers, widow of the late Milton Myers, well known old soldier, was held at Mount Gilead at 10:30 this morning in charge of Rev. Clark with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Myers died Saturday afternoon at her home on East 3rd Street of cancer of the stomach. She was 65 years old and a life long resident of the county, her maiden name being Buskirk.
Five children mourn the loss of a mother in her departure. They are: Edgar Myers of Illiois, Isaac Myers, Miss Minerva Myers, Mrs. Martin Kleindorfer and Mrs. John Stevens, all of this county. Mrs. Myers leaves a host of friends who feel keenly the loss of a life long acquaintance.
