Charlotte R. Shaw, 83, of Minooka and formerly of Covington, Indiana, passed away at 10:30 a.m. CDT Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at the home of her daughter.
She was born April 4, 1929 in Vermillion County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Pearl and Minnie Kyger Arrasmith. She married Sydney W. Shaw on Feb. 26, 1950 in Newport, Indiana. He preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 1985. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas A. (Marietta) Arrasmith and Charles Arrasmith.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynn Ann (John) Reid of Minooka; two grandsons, Jonathan (fiancee, Lauren) Reid of Shorewood, Illinois and Ryan S. Reid of Minooka; sister-in-law, Doris Arrasmith of Cayuga, Indiana; niece, Pamela (Gene) Donald of Fort Wayne, Indiana and three nephews, Gary Arrasmith of Kingman, Indiana, Alan (Joye) Arrasmith of Birmingham, Alabama and David (Rhonda) Arrasmith of Cayuga, Indiana.
