Myrtie Faulkner Potts, 82, of Carrollton, a former resident of Hogansville and Moreland, died Saturday, July 2, 1994, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.
The funeral service was conducted Monday morning, July 4, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Rev. Rufus Thornton officiating.
Mrs. Potts was born July 3, 1911, in Randolph County, Ala., daughter of the late Marion and Liddie Overton Faulkner. She was retired from Uniroyal, Inc. in Hogansville, was a member of the Louise Baptist Church in Troup County, and was the wife of the late James C. Potts.
Survivors include two sons, G. Ray Potts of Elizabethton, Tenn., and James W. Potts of Fort Myers, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Pauline Wright of Albertville, Ala.; three brothers, Warner Faulkner of Virginia Beach, Va., Albert Faulkner of Hogansville, and Edward Driver of Roanoke, Ala.; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
