Albert I. Faulkner, 82, of Hogansville, Ga., died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at his home.
Mr. Faulkner was born Oct. 19, 1922, in Randolph County, Ala., son of the late Francis Marion Faulkner and the late Liddie Overton Faulkner Driver. A resident of Hogansville since 1930, he was an army veteran of World War II and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He retired from Uniroyal Inc. after 43 years of service and was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ward Faulkner.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Evans of Newnan, Ga.; one son, A.G. Faulkner of Carrollton, Texas; one sister, Pauline Wright of Albertville; one brother, Edward Driver of Roanoke; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Revs. Frank Powers and Wesley Boatman will officiate and burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday and Tuesday nights from 6 to 8.
