Services for Daryl Walter Adolf, 73 of May City, will he held at 10:30 a.m., August 10 at St. John's Lutheran Church in May City. The Rev. Timothy Geitz will officiate.
Casket Bearers will be Larry Steinke, Chad Centner, Jerry Harms, Tim Steffen, Kevin Adolf, DeLoy Adolf , Harlan Centner and Dennis Dallman.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be Elmer Kraft, Wilbert Luinstra, Mickey Kraft, Leonard Jurgemeyer, Irvin Monhi and Merle Peterson.
Burial will be in the Harrison Township Cemetery, May City.
The Baumgarten Funeral Home of Hartley is handling the arrangements.
Mr. Daryl Walter Adolf, the son of Walter John and Celestia Mesch Adolf was born July 12, 1918, near Hartley and attended rural country schools in the area.
He married Pearl Runge on December 23, 1945 in May City, where the couple made its home.
Mr. Adolf custom ground feed and sold Super Sweet Seed for 46 years.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in May City.
Mr. Adolf died Wednesday, August 7 at the Hartley Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant son.
Mr. Adolf is survived by his wife, Pearl; one daughter, Shelley Kruger of Sanborn; three brothers; DeForrest Adolf of May City, Dale Adolf of Everly and Derry Adolf of Harris; one sister, Pearl Steinke of Spencer; and three grandchildren.
