Obituary: "Funeral services for Davis Wilkins Simpson, 72, a native of Dayton will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 P.M. from the residence of his sister, Mrs. Walter O. Brown, Dayton. Mr. Simpson, residing at Boyds, Md., died in the Frederick Memorial Hospital on Saturday, October 15, 1955. The Rev. N. S. Coale will officiate and interment will be in Providence Cemetery. The deceased, single, is a son of the late Hamilton H. and Laura Johnson Simpson and is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Brown, Dayton; Mrs. Annie L. Earp, Silver Spring and a brother, Bradley Simpson, Dayton."
