Deceased Name: Gretchen E. Womacks
CULLOM, Ill. - Gretchen E. Gertrude Womacks, 89, of Bourbonnais, Ill., died Monday, May 7, 2001, at Provena Our Lady of Victory Home in Bourbonnais.
The Cullom native was a homemaker, a 1930 graduate of Cullom High School and a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Cullom. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Martin Scheibling on Feb. 2, 1950, and Robert E. Womacks on Oct. 25, 1978.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Scheibling of Bourbonnais and Sonja Davis of Maceo; three grandchildren; a brother, Duane Puckett of Ashkum, Ill.; and a sister, Ruth Massa of Mansfield, Ohio.
Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Harris-Martin-Burke Funeral Home in Cullom.
Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Cullom. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
