Olive Vest Giltner, 96, of Ottumwa Route 7 died Jan. 4 at 7 p.m. at the home of her daughter in Ottumwa.
She was born Jan. 28, 1883, in Ottumwa to Samuel L. and Nettie Naylor Vest. She always lived in Wapello County and was a member of Agency United Methodist Church. She married Clifford D. Giltner [sic] Aug. 2, 1904. He died July 24, 1971.
Survivors: daughters Eloise Elsensohn of Agency and Martha Nelson of Ottumwa; a son, Sam of Minneapolis, Minn.; and 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Services: Monday at 3 p.m. in Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. Gerald McGee of Agency United Methodist Church officiating. Burial: Ottumwa Cemetery. Memorial: to her church.
