Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy B. Dittman, 68, of Lamartine. who died Thursday morning in the Franklin Hospital, will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. Sunday in the Robert F. Crisswell Funeral Home, Emlenton. The Rev. Richard Luh, pastor of the Salem United Church of Christ, will officiate and interment will be in the United Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. today and Saturday at the funeral home. Born in Emlenton August 27, 1911, she was the daughter of James Sinas and Florence Burghman Beals. She was graduated from Clarion Normal School and for the past 50 years had lived in Lamartine. She was a member of the Salem &United Church of Christ. She was married to Lawrence E. Dittman November 27, 1931 and he died February 8, 1978. Surviving are nine sons; Lawrence James of Suitland, MD; Robert Emerson, Dallas; Walter Emmanuel, Honolulu, Hawaii; Donald Authur, Warren, Ohio; William Richard, New Berm, NC; Harry Arnold, Cleveland; Eugene Edward, Newton Falls, Ohio; Kenneth Dewayne, Lamartine; John Howard, Kingwood, WV; three daughters; Mary Jane Mullen of Emlenton; Dorothy Belle Dittman at home; and Nancy Louise McClintock, Reno; a sister, Aida Layne, Perrysville, 35 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. An infant daughter and two brothers, Walter and Bill Beals are deceased.
