He was born on August 19, 1943, in Lamartine, Pennsylvania, to the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Beals) Dittman. Harry was also preceded in death by his siblings, Jim, Bob, Walt, Bill, and Dorothy Belle Dittman.
Harry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Phyllis (Jones) Dittman; children, Julie Tonini (John), Debbie Zagray (Pete), Lori Lavalle (Luis), Jeff Dittman (Carrie); siblings, Mary Jane Mullin (Daryl), Don Dittman (Mary Frances), Gene Dittman (Shirley), Nancy McClintock (Bob), Ken Dittman, John Dittman; sisters-in-law, Betty, Marguerite, Fayrene, Judy; and grandchildren, Cameron Tonini, Miles Tonini, Brittany Zagray, Brooke Zagray, Carter Dittman, Michaela Lavalle; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Monday, August 27, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 9 AM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Holy Family Catholic Church (129 West Daisy Lane, New Albany) with burial to follow in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.
