H. H. Fox, of Numa, Dies Suddenly Saturday Evening.
H. H. Fox, only son of E. M. Fox, of this city, one of Numa's industrious young men, died very suddenly at his home in Numa, Saturday evening at 5.00 o'clock, of stomach trouble. He had been in his usual health until Saturday afternoon, when he was taken with severe pains in his stomach with excessive vomiting, and almost before a doctor could arrive be was dead.
The deceased was born near Cincinnati in this county June 24, 1870 and
at the time of his death was 29 years, 11 months and 16 days old. He was married in 1893 to Miss Myrtle Stevenson who with one little daughter are left stricken with grief, and are now at the, home of E. M. Fox in this city. On December 19, 1895 his mother died and yesterday at 4:00 o'clock he was buried by her side in Oakland cemetery. The funeral was held from the Methodist church in Numa yesterday at 1:30 o'clock p. m., conducted by the pastor Reverend Sinclair, following which the remains were brought to Centerville and interred as above related. The funeral concourse was an immense one
and was attended by the Numa camp of U.M.W. of A. in a body, of which the deceased was a member.
