Was born in Centerville, the daughter of Elias and Sarah Fox, pioneer residents, died at 5:30 p.m. Monday, July 2, 1945, at her home at 410 Haynes Avenue due to advanced age and a broken hip which she received in a fall two years ago in August.

In death she was preceded by her husband, who died November 5, 1931. She was preceded in death by 1 half-brother, Aaron. Charles. Stevens of Woodland, Calif., a brother Hiram. Henry Fox, of Numa, and a sister Mrs. Alexander Elsworth Arbogast, of Numa, Iowa.

She is survived by 2 children, Mrs. Frank L. Kelly and H. G. Graham, both of this city [Centerville, Iowa]. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. W. A. Bradley of Moline, Illinois.

Born Alice Fox, she went with her parents to Kansas as small child but later returned to Centerville, and the family also lived for a short time at Eddyville, Iowa. However, most of her life was spent in Centerville and she was wed here to Mark Graham, September 21, 1882.

The young couple made their home at Numa for a time and later Mr. Graham entered into farming but some 40 years ago moved to Centerville and in later years associated with Mr. Crawford in the flour and feed business.

Mrs. Graham was a long time member of the Methodist church having joined as a young girl. She was also a member of the Daughter of Union Veterans and the S. P. U. club.

In addition to other relatives, she leaves three grandchildren, Mrs. Everette Galloway of this city, Mrs. Raymond Rief of Rockford, Ill., and Mark Kelly, now serving in the U.S. navy at Daytona, Fla.

There are five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Graham was well known and had many friends all of whom mourn her passing.

Funeral services are to be held at the Miller Funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Thursday and the Rev. L. H. Lanning, former Methodist pastor here, now serving at Brookfield, Missouri, will come here to officiate.
