Jerome Pellerins' Die in Burlington Few Hours Apart
BURLINGTON - Double funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Joseph Pellerin, 395 North St., Burlington, formerly of Bennington, who died within a few hours of each other, will be held tomorrow at 9 am in Sacred Heart Church. Interment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home this afternoon and tonight.
Jerome Joseph Pellerin was born in Bennington, son of William and Eva Roy Pellerin. He was 44 years old last April 20. He was reared here and received his education a Sacred Heart School. Following his marriage to the former Catherine Elwell, they moved to Rutland, where he had been superintendent of grounds at Mt. St. Joseph Novitiate. Three years ago they moved to Burlington where he was employed by Champlain Tire Company in the recapping division. They had been away from Bennington for 13 years.
Mrs. Pellerin was born May 16, 1921, in Bennington, daughter of Fred and Bessie Woodward Elwell. She had also received her schooling here and was employed at Polygraphic Co. before leaving for Rutland.
Survivors include a son, Jerome W. Pellerin of Burlington, a daughter Mrs. Arthur Lebeau of Biloxi, Miss.; and a grandson. Mr. Pellerin leaves a sister, Mother Concepta of Rutland and a brother, Robert Pellerin of Bennington.
Mrs. Pellerin died Friday afternoon of a heart attack. She had been under the care of a physician. Mr. Pellerin died early Saturday morning at Mary Fletcher Hospital, Burlington, only a few hours afterward.
