Mrs. Susie Paxton Cline, 78, Carlisle, widow of Howard A. Cline Sr., died Friday morning in her home after an illness of almost a year.
She was a native of Wenksville and had lived in Carlisle for the past 12 years. She was a member of the Goodyear Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Cline is survived by a son, John W. Cline, Carlisle; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph E. Ditzel, Carlisle, and Mrs. Vernon C. Slusser, Gardners, R.2; a sister, Miss H. Kathryn Paxton, Harrisburg; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the funeral home, 148 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. The Rev. Dr. Sampson B. Daugherty, pastor of Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church, will officiate. Burial in Westminster Mausoleum. Friends may call this evening at the funeral home.
