Born December 13, 1921 in Laketown, Utah to Bertha and Willis Ellsworth Kearl. Married Lowell (Red) Alley Wells October 11, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Wilma spent all of her time and effort serving her family. As one of eight children growing up on a farm in Rich County, Utah, she learned early the value of diligence and responsibility. These values were passed on to her family through her great example and devotion.Wilma and Red met at Bennett's Glass and Paint. She retired from the company in 1983 having made many friends.
Survived by husband, Lowell; daughter, Teri, Sacramento, CA; son, Robert (Patty), Salt Lake City; three grandchildren, Dan, Rob, and Allison; sister, Nelda VanVleet; brother, W. Gordon Kearl, Laramie, Wyoming. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Eldon and Paul; sisters, Aretha K. Jensen, Jean K. Cook, and Ethel B. Kearl.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 17, 1999 at 1 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
