Mrs. Mary Josephine Hicks Lineberry, age 93, of Pinnacle, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center.
She was born on January 28, 1919 in Surry County to the late John W. and Corina Sams Hicks.
Mrs. Lineberry was a homemaker.
Mrs. Lineberry is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Linda Lineberry of Winston-Salem, James and Jemetta Lineberry of Pilot Mountain, Mark and Bonnie Lineberry of Pinnacle; four daughters and son-in-law, Louise Whitt of Siloam, Jennie Thacker of Pinnacle, Betty and Glenn Bottoms of Ararat, Linda Sechrist of Mt. Airy; nineteen grandchildren; one sister, Ethel Starbuck; and one sister-in-law, Inez Hicks.
Mrs. Lineberry was preceded in death by her husband, Leak Lineberry; her parents, four brothers, John H. Hicks, Frank Hicks, Harvey Hicks, Paul Hicks; and one sister, Ada Lineberry.
Funeral services will be conducted on July 13, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Old Siloam Friends with Pastor Lem Sprinkle and Bro. Jerry Pardue officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Cox-Needham Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Mrs. Lineberry, 107 Rolling Terrace Lane, Pinnacle, NC 27043.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Hospice of Surry.
