Gilbert was the son of Laura & Jim Weller. He married Cassie Artindale. He lived his whole life in Carrying Place, Ont.
Gilbert & Cassie had 6 children 2 baby boys died very young. They were both Spina Bifida babies meaning their spines were on the outside of their bodies. William Artindale was born on Aug. 26, 1922 & died on Aug. 28, 1922 in Carrying Place & Maxwell was born in July, 1915 & died on Aug. 8, 1915 in Carrying PLace. On his death register his name is Maxwell but on the stone it says Maxfield. His father was the Informant on the register so the error must be on the stone.
