MADISON — Jerry Franklin Landreth, 67, of 404 North Franklin Street, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Larry Noah officiating. Interment will follow in Mayodan Municipal Cemetery with military honors by Rockingham County Honor Guard.

Mr. Landreth was born May 23, 1945, in Rockingham County, to late Walter Landreth and Louise Lewellyn Landreth. He was a US Army veteran, a retired employee of Central Telephone Company and a member of Souls' Harbour Holiness Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, David Landreth, and sister, Angel D. Landreth.

Survivors include his brother, Larry Dean Landreth and wife, Joan.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m., Friday, July 20, 2012, at Colonial Funeral Home and all other times at his home.
